Julia Robinson has been practicing in Boulder since 1993.   Prior to opening her Boulder firm, she was a shareholder at Grant McHendrie PC in Denver, where she practiced for 12 years.  Julia has extensive experience in estate planning, trusts, prenuptial agreements, estate administration, limited liability companies, family partnerships, corporations, water rights and special districts.  She represents clients throughout Colorado.  Her practice is limited to transactions, document preparation and general personal legal advice.  Julia has earned the highest rating from Martindale-Hubbell Directory of Lawyers and Law Firms.

The ability to help clients achieve their personal and family goals, and the challenge of finding creative solutions to complex issues, are what Julia finds most rewarding in her law practice.  She enjoys getting to know her clients and their families, working with them over the long term, and helping them through some of the more difficult life changes.  She also enjoys working with boards of directors of her reservoir company and special district clients, especially in framing issues for consideration, consensus building and decision making. Often, understanding the history of these entities and their facilities is both interesting and relevant to current matters which come before such boards.  Julia is especially fascinated by the colorful history of water rights, ditches and reservoirs in Colorado.

Julia, her husband Derrick and their springer spaniel spend as much time as possible outdoors in Colorado, from the backyard to the high mountains.  Julia loves spending time with family and friends and is an avid reader.  She also enjoys cooking, playing tennis and sewing clothes.
